What happens to the mind/consciousness when the eyes are closed? Not sleeping though.

You can try this out for yourself. There's a shift to auditory and feeling sensory input, away from the visual. Also the shift is more to internal 'processing' of thoughts, if you're not directive, so practically the same without the external visual input.

i have noticed over time that one will close the eyes when too sleepy, thus showing how one is enslaved by energy if one feel the need to sleep more that 8 hours a day. Energy as the mind as sleep is when one is participating in too many systems. information from bernard from an article called Clear the Temple, indicating that the mind is sometimes referred to as slaap or sleep translated and that it is in the temple area of the head. i think this is still relevant today in understanding ourselves and the mind
