How do statements of “I want” actually imply the opposite of “I don’t have”, which contributes to the relationship between control, holding on to things and fear of loss?

Why, despite sometimes already having the things you want, do you exist in fear of loss in relationship to them, instead of accepting and embracing them?

How can you practically assist and support yourself to identify and walk through these wants that contribute to the relationship between control, holding on and fear of loss?
