Brushing Teeth

Brushing Teeth

Postby marcusduffyy » 11 May 2012, 04:35

I have no idea about this point. I don't brush my teeth and I have had no physical side-effects or discomforts. I have been told that I will regret not brushing my teeth when I get older because they will rott if I neglect them, my gums will perish and I will live in pain and lose all my teeth. So my question to you fellow destonians is; what is your experience with brushing teeth and based on that, what would you suggest I walk - me here who brushes his teeth or me here who does not?

Perhaps investigate your reasoning for not brushing your teeth... who you are within brushing your teeth or not, what ideas do you have about it? Is it a resistance? You can see this one for yourself Marcus!

I haven't been brushing my teeth for years because of fear of fluoride in toothpaste and I had done research that suggests using a toothbrush causes more harm than good on the gums. My teeth have been rotting away and I have even lost some teeth. I started brushing again and the problems are going away. I haven't experienced any harm from using a toothbrush and have found white vinegar to be an effective mouth wash and I use it for brushing also. If I don't have white vinegar I use toothpaste and haven't experienced any problems with that either. My personal experience has shown me that not brushing fucks up my teeth and I suggest you try experimenting brushing vs not brushing and toothpaste or an alternative vs no toothpaste.

Brush your teeth, you dont need toothpaste, you can use baking soda even, or natural tooth paste.
The food we eat is often processed which sticks to the teeth and between them, which requires us to brush to remove the buildups and not have bacteria fester on it.

I know someone who as a child never learned to brush her teeth. After some time, her teeth rotted and by age 12 she already had false teeth.

I brush my teeth with natural tooth paste. In the evening. In the morning I do oil pulling.

Maybe if we would eat all raw we wouldnt have to. But I mean our diets are pretty far from that :P

Hello, so it's been about a week since my starting this thread as well as walking within the self agreement to begin brushing my teeth. What I'm finding is very interesting. Within the point of brushing my teeth in the past, I have for a time fallen into that specific construct of our existence on which is quite similar and in relation to the whole upheaval and conspericy bullcrap in relation to "our water containing fluoride" and "our governments Are a part of the illuminati" eyc. For a time, I soles brushing my teeth due to the fear that was stimulated by this information I was learning on YouTube And the Internet etc. though looking at the past year or so for me, not brushing my teeth has been a simple case of being to lazy and truly just not seeing the point. Also I gave up on trying to fit into the system in abdicating myself to a system of beauty or trying to fit a certain image at school and while I was out, so during my process, similar to how guys Nd irks of desteni will shave their heads to prove that they can walk a process of not 'caring' what others think of their image, I stopped brushing my teeth. So anyways it's been about 2 Weeks of me brushing my teeth about 2 times a day. I def notice a difference in my self which is interesting. Not only do my teeth feel much nicer in my mouth to the touch of my tongue, I also find I am more comfortable when communicating in my word with others. I Always suppressed my smile and thus the potential of my conversation when talking with people out of fear that they would see the layer of plaque on my teeth. I myself had no problem with it, I thought I was kinda cool actually, whFen looking in the mirror etc. though I saw and understood that the systems of this world in relation to presontaion do not share the same practical overlook on this particle situation. White teeth are sexy and attractive - they get you that job opportunity, they make you look and seem professional and friendly etc. that is the system of values we have allowed. So it really comes down to, how effective do I want to be in my word/ this current system we live within? Am I willing to walk within the system that is here and present myself effectiey in my world? This means brushing my teeth.

Another reason I began brushing my teeth is by is simple practical Benifets to my physical body. My teeth are me, my physical self. It's nice to take care of them as myself. Before brushing my teeth was something that I 'had' to do, now itself turning into something I enjoy doing for myself.!

Cool - a couple points to take a look at within what you wrote:

If this was in fact so, that you 'had no problem with it' and 'thought it was kinda cool'? Because if you feared that people would see the layer of plaque, that's an obvious indication that you DO/DID have a problem with it and did NOT think it was cool - thus, here you are kidding yourself and have not actually corrected the point but have only switched to the opposite end of the polarity, where you now feel good about you teeth - to be clear, if your teeth determine how you're able to communicate with another, that's a problem - as it means that you are not the self-directive principle of your Life, but your life and how you express yourself is determined by your appearance. Suggest to investigate this so you can get a clear understanding of your starting point for brushing your teeth.

Would be cool to place your investigations and any self-forgiveness/self-correction here, as well.

So it really comes down to, how effective do I want to be in my word/ this current system we live within? Am I willing to walk within the system that is here and present myself effectiey in my world? This means brushing my teeth.

How effective one is in the system is not necessarily determined by one's teeth - there are plenty of people in the system who do not have perfectly white and 'sexy' teeth and are still 'successful' - so consider investigating this belief to see where you may be using justifications to validate why you now want/desire white teeth.

Another reason I began brushing my teeth is by is simple practical Benifets to my physical body. My teeth are me, my physical self. It's nice to take care of them as myself. Before brushing my teeth was something that I 'had' to do, now itself turning into something I enjoy doing for myself.!

I would suggest gentle flossing as well, as plaque and food (especially sugar) left on teeth and gums for extended periods of time will begin to break down which has an acidic effect on teeth and can potentially host bacteria. Those bacteria are indiscriminate in that they will not only feed on your left over food, but will also feed on your gums resulting in gum disease. When I do not floss for over a week, my gums will typically bleed. I do not use mouthwash very often, as I understand that it kills the helpful bacteria as well as the harmful.
