Hi Desteni Members...My name is Sam And im 43 years old with two grown up kids. Ive been following a lot of your subject matter for quite a few years now and also on Twitter and Facebook. I Know that its taken me a while to actually get my ass round to registering on here but i do find it quite difficult to write things down in a coherent manner. My First dalliance with social network sites started with Myspace back in 2006 where i wrote up a lot of my details in blog form (i then copied them to Tumblr). I Do find it difficult to write about the Events that have happened in my life, which frustrates me as i feel like writing them down would help me a great deal. i would be Thankful for any advice on improving my writing skills. i shall give you the Tumblr link so that if interested you can see my blogs from years back. I have enjoyed the Desteni videos i have watched so far. As i said id be very grateful for any help with improving my writing skills as they have deterioted over the past few years. http://valhallasam.tumblr.com/

Hey Sam! At last you're here, cool

Writing is definitely the key point here and I suggest to now take a moment to browse through the 7 year journey to life blogs wherein you can read how we apply the tools of Writing, Self Forgiveness and Self Corrective Application - and you can open up your own thread in the Writing Yourself to Freedomsection

Realize that the point of support here is not only about 'writing skills' but an actual process of self responsibility to life and our creation as this world wherein each one of us are the characters that have shaped the current mess we're in. Therefore, this is where we stop victimizing ourselves and actually get to know how we have molded/ shaped/ created ourselves according to how we see ourselves in our minds: limitations, fears, frustrations, judgments, self-sabotage and anything else wherein we bind ourselves to such experiences through thinking and acting out the thinking as 'who we are. '

Thus, take your time to read here, participate in any thread wherein you have a question or further input on a topic.

You can directly past some of your writings here on the forum, that's how we ensure we in fact go reading them.

Welcome and Enjoy

Hi Sam.

Awesome that you're here.

In addition to the support given here by Marlen, I suggest to be patient with yourself and have a look at whether you are limiting yourself within and as a belief that you're not effective at writing or for example comparing yourself to others. Because we all got to start somewhere. Some have written diary for years, others have never written a word in their life before. Some are not used to sharing themselves and opening up, others are. Some have never expressed themselves in English before. So all it requires is that you give yourself the opportunity to simply start with what is here - I find it very assisting to simply write about the points that I find the most difficult in my day to day reality, taking one point at a time. The best writings are not necessarily long elaborate pieces, but simply where we allow ourselves to investigate in self-honesty 'who' we are within moments of participation. As you'll see in the link Marlen placed to the Journey to Life blogs, many of us have started to write about the Characters we live and assume for ourselves on a day to day basis. I find that very assisting in "naming the game" and bringing the points I write about back to practicality, whether I am looking at a "jealousy character" or a "sleeping in character" or whatever character I see is relevant to deconstruct and look at in a moment.

And definitely, this forum is here to support - so simply allow yourself to "jump in" not accepting any thoughts to limit you in giving yourself the opportunity to write yourself out.

Hi Sam,
finally you are Here :)
We already met through some Retweets on Twitter.
None of us is a professional writer so don't worry about the How you write, just start writing, I don't know the beginning of the writing of each one of us, I started by writing about what I was going through when I started to write, which was a complicated situation with a VISA on a passport and how I felt anxious and fearful in my life about where I was and having no direction.
Then I took on the most abusive point in my life which was my addiction to Pot which I have given up after so many years (25+), so writing works in laying out a snapshot of your life for yourself to see where you are, what is affecting you and then self forgiveness to release the built up energy on specific points and then you rewrite your script, you rewrite the who you are which will define the life you live as a self responsible person for yourself and the World, Equal and One.
So, looking forward to your writings, you can read through what others wrote in relation to points you are facing and read their self forgiveness which may open up points for you to investigate further and breath by breath we keep moving as the Correction/Solution to end our fears and separation.
Ask for anything that is not clear, but you will see, once you start writing you will flow, like everything we do, the more you write the more you will find the way that works for you to keep yourself sticking to one point at the time, it will support you to find a structure to keep within one point at the time to not get the 'feeling of being overwhelmed by the task ahead', we screwed ourselves up one point at the time, if we managed that we can unscrew the points through which we crucified ourselves and All of existence, to free ourselves and/as All There Is and start Living vs Surviving.
