Paul Lombardo. Hello

Postby Paul Lombardo » 21 Jul 2018, 15:36

This is my introduction of my self. I am a man currently of 26 years old and live in Florida USA. I am a future student and have some college experience already. I have a history of marijuana abuse and have spent much time trying to improve myself so I can be healthy active and functioning to improve my mind body and being. Currently my plans are to start furthering my education so I can make money for myself in the future, also improving my physical health by working on my breathing eating right and exercising . I want to feel and look good. I don't struggle with much besides improving the small details of my life that I would like to see changed. Desteni is very cool and seems to be a place to learn and express myself in writing which is fun. Some of the things I'm interested in is buteyko breathing method , normalbreathing.com, YouTube lol, eye improvement, exercise, keto and Paleo diets and addiction management...porn, mast. , drugs alcohol etc. Currently I am on one medication for my mood and for stress and I drink some coffee . Both of these things I plan to improve over time. Desteni first found me on YouTube with the portal vids like most and I wanted to investigate what the hell was really going on here lol. So I find that im interested in the programs taught online here and just the profound and other wordly information offered by the other side via the portal or Sunnette Spies . Unfortunately Bernard Poolman is no longer in this life but he left behind lots of information and taught many what he found. Obviously he is in heaven so he is still supporting somewhere in existence. To be honest I don't understand some of what the portal interviews say but that is why there is.a learning process of writing and expression so yea that's me. Glad to be on this interesting South African group and am happy to share what I know and to learn what I don't know. Gathering knowledge and info is the goal i think. So ok let's have fun. Bye

Hey Paul! Welcome to the forum, have seen you around for some years indeed, so, very cool that you decided to start sharing more of yourself here. It's very cool that you are on that self-bettering stage where you're already focusing on the body and getting to support it the best possible. I guess many of us have been down the addiction paths and being able to quit, mostly because of realizing - well in my case - how that one point of addiction was preventing me from truly 'being me' and seeing me for who I am. And this is not only drugs or alcohol, but relationships as well, so this process indeed is an overall way to reflect back about ourselves and learning to change things, test out new ways of living and see what works best for us.
I definitely recommend the courses though to be able to genuinely understand and disentangle yourself from the more 'hardwired' addictions, because at times even if the will and understanding is there, we might be sabotaging ourselves in ways that we may not be entirely aware of, so that's where a deeper opening of one's mind and awareness development is needed. So that's where I see the benefit of Desteni in that kind of changes, which will in turn strengthen the resolve you're already building about your life, goals, body, health etc.

Cool on your decisions and if you want to share more, have any questions, go for it! that's what this place is all about - including certain things you may not understand about certain interviews/audios etc. We're all happy to support whenever necessary.

Have fun and keep enjoying caring for yourself.

Hello . Yes Marlen the interview specifically Anu #5 seemed very aggressive and cynical to me and actually got me a little upset....because I couldn't figure out what I was not seeing but what Anu could see. As if something i was doing wrong. I watched it while I was feeling resentment toward a person/entire system in this world but Any kind of made me feel like my anger was pointless and that I'm only hurting myself. I was in a curcumstance where I felt like I was being abused and Anu made me feel like I am stupid for bucking against the system...what do you think ? Should I just let the system in this world dominate me or should I get angry and make the change I want to see? And also isnt Anu like evil and king of the world system itself?

But actually I found that even though I didn't get what I wanted I ended up making appropriate changes the next day even though I got angry . So if I got my way I might never have ended up making important changes to myself

Hi Paul and welcome! :D I think what you wrote was cool, keep it up! In relation to Anu, since he basically "enslaved" all of existence, he likes to say oh hey! you are upset? You did it to yourself when you enslaved yourself, remember? he may seem like he's not being helpfull, but what he really tries to show is that the solution to yourself is already within yourself, this is an individual process, and the tools provided in destini are the best you could have found! Cya!

Hey Paul, cool to see you introduce yourself :)

In terms of your question here:
Should I just let the system in this world dominate me or should I get angry and make the change I want to see?
Neither giving up or fighting would be an answer. The world system is not in fact dominating you -- the world system is the external manifestation of our collective acceptances and allowances, an extension of ourselves. How can we dominate ourselves? The world system is just 'there' doing what its designed to do. Getting angry then also doesn't make sense - cause then you're just getting angry at yourself. You can use anger, rather as an expression of self-movement and self-will (instead of a 'fuck you' attitude) - to evaluate your own acceptances and allowances and make changes within yourself -- and in so doing move yourself within your personal capacity to change things in your external world.

I sort of do remember how I enslaved myself....and I know how to undo it but will I reenslave myself again once I'm free. I do not know. So I've lost a level of trust. I was unhappy I remember that. I was frustrated with my life so i got into a situation which I sort of regret. I put myself into the situation or enslavement I'm in now. Why I was so unhappy...aren't we born happy and content and secure?
