One Way to Quit Smoking

I tried everything... the patch, the pill, having a partner who didn't like it, stopping cold turkey, stopping because I thought I should, weening off... nothing worked for me until I was ready. The point? Never. give. up. And try it all!

My Addictive Relationship

It took 10 Years to finally quit smoking and so what I can suggest is this... take baby steps and PRACTICE. 21 and 30 days challenges ARE what gave me the skills and strength to take on my biggest addiction.

There is no shame in trying and falling as long as you never give up, stand back up and try again! Keep going, you'll get it!

I had stopped smoking many years ago. I had found the decision to be quite straightforward in my case.

Yet, for some reason, and in the face of stress I would sometimes 'wonder' how it would be to smoke a cigarette - simply to experience that pull, thinking that to experience this pull would give me relief.

A few months ago this led me to smoke a cigarette again. In the days after I had smoked this cigarette, I experienced discomfort within myself. I did not feel clear in my standing - until one evening as I was looking at this point, I realised that had to make an absolute decision on this point. The decision was that smoking is not for me and so there was no point in going there again.

After I had made this decision I was clear within myself and I have not experienced this craving again since.
