Yes, many many young people are unemployed in the U.S.. Older people are taking jobs that younger people usually did, like working at McDonald's, with college degrees. But of course colleges still advertise that you need to have a degree to get a good job- which is true but there is a limited amount of those jobs available- and like in the interview says- going to college is now a gamble, because if you're not one of those ones that gets the good job- you're stuck with extensive school loans you can't afford to pay off. This is a good example of how our current system is like a Casino where only a few get the 'jackpot'. Quite a fuckup.
