valentin.rozman Just a quick note that I have decided to stop actively working for the Earth Nation. My plan is now to find a good paying regular job in middle management and I might also do some life coaching and cryptocurrency counselling.

sunettedimensions Who has sharings of moments, reflections of past experiences - changing a moment of accepting / allowing a 'half-half' application and instead being more direct, upfront, clear, frank and direct with self?
What would it mean to be more direct, frank, straightforward with oneself?
marlen How I've lived it is owning my creation so to speak, directly going into getting to see how I have been the one that requires to open up, understand or clarify something to myself rather than looking at others or external situations as the source, so that's quite a cool and empowering process, to 'own it' and see it as is, without sugar coating it. Though also considering to 'whom' I'm sharing such frankness so as to be also understanding of the outflows or consequences of it, similar to what Leila shared last chat, for some it is not as common to get the whole thing straight, some others will be ok with it. But ultimately, it is a gift to be clear to oneself about it, a point of freedom or liberation to see things as they are, also assists in pushing to live such clarity in one's day to day creation, like leaving no 'half-and halfs' behind
viktorpersson For me it has to do with not sugar coating points – see it as it is
sunettedimensions For me, what helped was when I asked myself "if another were in this situation and they shared it with me - how would I respond?" This supported with me stepping out of the experience / out of myself and the situation for a moment to look at things more objectively. Interestingly enough - I found many moments where I THOUGHT I couldn't do something and instead showed myself I was capable. I had to use a very "PULL YOUR SOCKS UP AND F*KING DO IT GIRL" approach lol - which is like a intense directness that gives me intense direction and surprised myself every time
fred I were not consistent and determined enough on relationship with porn/masturbation, I found I hv to keep try different ways, if it doesn't work, I disappointed at myself for awhile, then I push/encourage myself to walk again, until lately with 8hrs Dieting/Eating application, I found I am finally more stable, more clarity on myself, my acts and for the 1st time, not being directed by my addiction/desires, more into with the physical body and able to relatively more steer/direct myself
tormod During drumm session with Adrian i told myself to be disciplined with the fact of learning from Adrian - and to follow his advice and experience rather than just give a half assed try - i told myself kmon Tormod You can do this : listen to the experience and give a effort i was clear, disciplined direct and focused within myself inn that moment of practice / play
marlen yeah it does take that 'take the bull by the horns' attitude indeed @sunettedimensions it might seem a bit 'daunting' at first, but I've fond that's where one develops real strength as well, a genuine 'this is me, this is the situation, and now on to work with it'
sunettedimensions Very well shared @marlen - yes, I have found some people cannot handle the same directness I am with me, so also in my support with others to be direct with him - I have to assess the gentleness-intensity level of directness
kims I have literally been thrown in the deep end these last two weeks in week because I am doing the work of three - I had to just be clear with myself and tell myself ‘ come on girl you can do it - you have the skill and the tools, and it’s been an amazing couple of weeks and I have been super busy but really enjoying the challenge
sunettedimensions Cool @fred - key is: don't give up, even if you fail - push to learn from the failures and do and do and do, get back up and do again until you got it.
viktorpersson I have tested that approach as well @sunettedimensions and it works well – when I see it from the outside there is no self-interest to protect – and that supports me to be clear
valentin.rozman @sunettedimensions this could easily apply to the position that I just left. When I joined that organisation there were several strong indicators and res flags that created dissatisfaction. However this was all justified with the argument that the project is in early stage of development. In the next months I noticed that the leadership is repeating the patterns of black hat approach and dictatorship. Understanding now how long it takes for mind patterns to change I finally decided to stop participation and not allowing anymore to compromise myself. This experience taught me how it is best to be more honest and direct with myself in order not to waste wishing and hoping that in time it will all change somehow.

anna Something I realized yesterday was that I have created a point of "giving it my best" within me, since I had written my master's thesis in 2013, and even though I got top grades, I was so dissatisfied with my own efforts. I had decided when writing the thesis to really push myself to develop discipline. I didn't. Then when I was offered the teaching position, in one moment I made that decision to give it my all, and become the best teacher I could be - and it opened up an entirely new potential within me on a very real level. Yesterday I realized that I now have this reference within me, which I didn't have before.

marjo I had a chat with my grand daughter about life, school, friends and she did not want to talk about it, so I pushed her gently to tel me some things and we had a nice conversation and some points opened up which were interesting to share. Other times I stopped to talk about the subject.

marlen Also another dimension of why we tend to 'sugar coat' things is because we fear anothers' reactions or 'fearing conflict' but I've come to see very clearly how it is through confronting, through 'walking through conflict' or disagreements that one can get to know and understand aspects of ourselves that we would have otherwise kept 'hidden' because of fears - and through being direct, frank and straight to the point even in the way we decide to communicate, share or do things it becomes a supportive aspect as well to walk through fears of 'stirring things up' because it assists more to get to see things as they are, with clarity, and yes understanding how it might feel a bit 'too much' for others - considering that - but it also depends on the relationship you have with such person you are being direct, frank towards, so will vary but if it's someone close to you, best to rather let the person know 'this is who I am and how I deal with things' and if possible assist another to walk through facing this frankness in communication
anna I've also been pushing myself to do self-forgiveness more during the day when "small" reactions comes up.
sunettedimensions Nice @kims - lol I have sometimes found that I stress about not being able to do something, but when I drop the emotions and thinking about it, I realise: I AM ALREADY DOING IT!!! lol and I'm like "omg, I didn't see me and what I am already getting done and accomplishing"

sunettedimensions Oh yes @marlen that is indeed an important dimension! a tricky one at that, I find I walk that dimesion in all my new relationships, in a way have to learn to assess that fine line, but at the same time with walking through the challenge, it does strengthen the relationship

valentin.rozman Yes @marlen that was also my case since I held myself back despite of noticing things that disturbed me. I did not express myself directly and completely because I did not want to create conflict and also because I wanted to wait how things would develop without me saying anything about it.

talamon I started to open up when and why I am avoiding conflicts, which result sometimes becoming submissive unconsciously - and today I was walking in the mall just hands in my pocket and as I approached people, talked and asked about what I was looking for and it was fun - while focused on shoulders and spine back, be direct and calm and it's going well, so continuing integrating in action while writing and opening up points to substantiate
Klavdija Hiti Last days I after work only sit, watch TV and eat and get weight and feel bad. So today I say stop, this is not good for me, I feel worst from day to day, so there is problem only in my mind. And now I start with my little change. And again starting working on myself.

marlen yeah @valentin.rozman though also cool because I see how sometimes it is required to let things play out, give time to it and then make a decision, so as to not quickly jump into assumptions etc. like in your case you tested the point out for some time until you were finally satisfied to see this wasn't 'the point' right?
marjo I was also looking at small reactions, the first thought were O I already did a lot of self forgiveness on this point, but now I see that new things are coming up and I need to direct them.

valentin.rozman I am learning more and more to immediately take action when I see something that I would like to be changed. Much in that sense I have already achieved in terms of immediately washing, wiping and tidying dishes, keeping the kitchen in best condition at all time, removing clutter on my computer and having my inbox empty at the end of the day. In my next professional environment I will push myself to direct myself even more promptly in regards to business matters, never procrastinating even for a bit.

kims This work situation was important for me to walk these last days because I would doubt myself so much in the past and go into so much stress of be able to do it all in good time and accurately. So I have a real time example almost like I had set it up for myself lol
viktorpersson @Klavdija Hiti you could try doing some low impact exercise that does not put a lot of strain on the body – such as taking a walk or going for a short swim
sunettedimensions Yes @Klavdija Hiti - I have found with starting training, exercising every day, I have more energy during the day - body feels stronger and can endure more during the day. So look into incorporating simple exercising in your day

And what I've noticed is that the ones that have the most success, are the ones who are calm, who don't get too emotional and that when things go wrong for them, they go: "Alright, how can I solve this in a creative way?" The ones that fuck things up, are the ones who take it way too serious and become too emotional and go: "ohh nooooo, it's all fucked". lol
